Official Gmail App For iOS Is Now Ready For Download

The official Gmail app by Google is now available for download from the AppStore. It’s a universal app for both iPhone and iPad. The app was launched on the 2nd of November but suffered buggy notifications system. It’s now fixed and the app is launched again and its official.

With the Gmail app, you can:
● Receive notification badges for new messages
● Read your mail with threaded conversations
● Organize your mail by archiving, labeling, starring, deleting, and reporting spam
● Keep track of important messages with priority inbox
● Auto-complete contact names as you type
● Send and receive attachments
● Search through all your mail

After using the app for a while, I notice that the black and white interface looks very boring and does not attract me at all.. but that’s just from a design point of view. The Gmail app works as expected. I quite like the popup action buttons at the bottom of the screen. Grab the app now for your iDevices from the Appstore.
