Microsoft Releases SkyDrive App For iPhone

I’ve been using Microsoft’s Skydrive for nearly a year now have been a satisfied user all these while. It’s a cloud storage service with free 25GB of storage space for anyone who uses Hotmail, Xbox Live and Messenger. Sharing files, photos and other stuff with my friends is such an easy task with Skydrive as I can set who gets access to them and I can send them direct links to certain files and folders that I want to share.

Check out how I use my SkyDrive here.

Well Microsoft has just made many people’s life easier now with the release of the new SkyDrive app for iPhone.

App description:

SkyDrive from Microsoft is the place to store your files so you can access them from virtually any device. With SkyDrive for the iPhone, you can now easily access, manage and share files on the go. You can also upload photos or videos from your iPhone to SkyDrive.

•Access all of your SkyDrive content including files shared with you
•View recently used documents
•Upload photos or videos from your phone
•Share a link to any file using email
•Create folders. Delete files or folders

It’s just like Dropbox but it has 25GB of free storage space. The app is easy to use and I think it has all the features I need as a SkyDrive user like sharing links, downloading photos, creating folders etc.
