Just few hours ago, Nokia announced their X Series of devices and one of the was the Nokia X, which was covered in our previous post. They also announced a 5-inch dual sim sibling, named the Nokia XL.

For those who wants to experience the X series but prefer a bigger screen, this is definitely the go to version of the X family. One of the key selling point for this device is definitely the 2 MP front camera which is best for Skype calls.
With the same interface as the Nokia X, users can resize, rearrange and create folders, just like the Lumia devices.
The Nokia XL comes with Fastlane as well. Just a swipe from the left of the screen will bring this list up. It basically shows you recently opened apps, activities, newest photos captured, etc.
Being an Android device at its core, the Nokia Xl allows us to add widgets to the homescreen and also install Android apps by side loading the .apk files using the file explorer built-in.
