So I recently got myself the Vibe Z, Lenovo’s latest flagship device. I fell in love with it when I first saw it back in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress a few months ago.
Before we move one, lets check out the specs:
Processor: Qualcomm® Snapdragon 800 2.2GHz Quad Core
Operating System: Android™ 4.3 Jelly Bean
Battery: 3000 mAh (Li-polymer), embedded
Rear camera: 13 MP auto-focus with LED flash rear camera
Front camera: 5 MP fixed-focus front camera
System Memory: 2 GB RAM
Built-in Storage: 16 GB
Display Size: 5.5″ (14cm)
Type: Multitouch Capacitive, 20/20 Vision (Full HD, 400PPI, IPS)
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
The packaging of the Vibe Z is professional yet funky looking. With a slide out mechanism, the cut out of the ‘Vibe Z’ word turns from black to red as you slide the box out.
The package comes with manuals, USB cable, power adapter and earphones.
The Vibe Z comes with a brilliant looking 5.5″ screen. Despite the size, it feels very light. Great if you prefer solid looking phones but not solid weight.
The back case might look like metal/aluminium but don’t let it fool you. It’s actually polycarbonate but delicately crafted to give users the premium feeling and texture.
Stay tuned for my review of the Lenovo Vibe Z soon, but for now, check out the full unboxing video below.
