Twitter recently launched its Dockable Audio Card, allowing users to dock audio files so you can continue to read and view the timeline. They have now added similar functionality for videos.
To use the feature, simply start playing a clip that uses Twitter’s video player. You’ll notice a button at the top right hand corner that can be used to minimize the video. Tap the button and the video docks at the bottom right hand corner of your screen. A small progress bar shows you how far along you far. You can tap the docked video to open it full screen again.
Soon Twitter will allow medium sized cards whereby users can watch a live event and interact via Tweets as well in real-time.
