Lenovo’s latest flagship device, the Vibe Z2 Pro is in Malaysia and we’ve got our hands on a brand new one recently. This phablet device is aimed to target the market where the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Huawei Mate 7 belong. Before we move on with the unboxing, lets check out the specs:
Processor: Qualcomm® Snapdragon 2.5 GHz Quad-Core processor
Operating System: Android KitKat v4.4
Dimensions (WxTxH): 81.3mm x 7.7mm x 156mm
Battery: 4000 mAh
Camera: 16MP rear camera, 5MP fixed-focus front camera
Memory: 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM
Display: 6.0″ (2560 x 1440) Quad-HD
The box of the Vibe Z2 Pro has a similar design and concept as previous Lenovo devices like the Vibe Z. Slide out of the outer layer reveals the black box.
Once the top piece is lifted, the 6″ device will appear in its full glory.
The package comes with a sim card ejector and a screen protector.
Here’s how the earphones, USB cable and adapter look like. Nicely snugged into the package.
Initial impression of the hardware: Very solid, similar size as the iPhone 6 Plus though this one has a bigger screen.
Switched on! But don’t expect a review yet. All I can say is that the screen is very vibrant and colours pop. Nothing complaints yet.
Stay tuned for my review next week!
