The day that Apple fans in South East Asia has been waiting for is coming. Apple is opening it’s first SEA store in Singapore next year.
This has not been officially announced by Apple yet, as their last announcement of retail store opening was for Dalian, China, a major port city in southern Liaoning Province. The announcement was made on Saturday, October 24.
So how did the news about Apple Store Singapore came about? Well, if you have been a member of Pure Fitness in Singapore, you would already receive the notice. Pure Fitness in Knightsbridge, Orchard Road will be close on the 15 December 2015 and the space will be occupied by Apple after that.
…, will be handling back space to the landlord to make way for the opening of Singapore’s first Apple Store later in 2016.
Knightsbridge is a luxury 4-storey retail shopping mall located in Orchard Road which houses a prominent collection of flagship stores within its expansive 83,000 sq ft area. The mall is integrated within Park Hotel Group’s flagship property, Grand Park Orchard.
So to all Apple fans in Singapore, do expect to see a store like the above (New York Apple Store) in town next year.
